1.  RAC Welcomes New Quebec Section Manager

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvain Lamarre, VE2LAM, Director of
Emergency Measures for RAQI, as the Section Manager of the Quebec Section.

Sylvain was born in Sept-Iles, Quebec and was raised there and worked there up
until 2004. He has been a Radio Amateur since 1988 and holds his Advanced certification.

"In November 2020, I accepted the role of Director of Emergency Measures on the RAQI
Board and since I have now retired I am in the middle of reviewing RAQI’s Emergency
Measures processes and team’s roles and responsibilities.  I look forward to an improved
and more efficient team which will be proud to be part of communications support for
the Government of Québec’s Civil Security sector.”
