3.    25th Annual Ontario QSO Party  – Apr 16th/17th.

Please help us celebrate Ontario by operating next weekend’s OQP.
There will be quite a few mobile stations roving between multipliers,
so try and catch a few to improve your score. Announce your operation
(fixed or mobile) at http://www.va3cco.com/oqp/plan.htm
You can operate HF or VHF with Voice and CW modes. Your exchange is
a signal report and your District, County or 1st tier Municipality.
Lets try and get all the areas of Ontario on the air. Don’t forget the higher
bands for stations outside of Ontario trying to improve their score.
More info at http://www.va3cco.com/oqp/

4. Solar cycle update: The gap is growing

Sunspot counts just hit their highest level in nearly 7 years, continuing a trend of
relatively strong growth for Solar Cycle 25.
The gap between the official forecast of a weak cycle and the actual behavior of
the sun is widening.
See the data @ Spaceweather.com.   (Wednesday April 6th edition)
